How we could build an economy rooted in
community and respect for our planet,
with the Centre for Social Innovation.
The Centre for Social Innovation has been working for almost 20 years to build Canada’s largest social innovation community—they’ve succeeded. With two coworking spaces in downtown Toronto and 3000+ members—they’ve created a place for entrepreneurs to connect, learn, and belong.
Built on the foundations of an innovation in community finance called the “Community Bond”, CSI bought two buildings that hundreds of social businesses now call home.
Most importantly, CSI has created a place with energy and the kind of magic that helps businesses (not to mention people) grow. Entrepreneurs get burned out, they face dead ends, and they get lonely. At CSI, there are always like-minded people to inspire and energize you. There are always new pathways out of dead ends. There is always a community that you belong to.
